The Institute of Continuing & TESOL Education is located in Brisbane, Australia and is the oldest government accredited English language school for speakers of other languages in Queensland.

Its main city campus, Gardens Point, is located beside the river and next to Brisbane’s Botanical Gardens. To cater for the 40,000+ students at QUT there is a second city campus, which is located at Kelvin Grove. Residents of Student One can access both campuses easily by public transport or via the city’s extensive bike paths.

Central Queensland University (CQU) has a campus in Brisbane, which has just been refurbished to ensure it remains relevant and caters for the needs of today’s international and domestic students. The campus is easily accessible from Student One by a short walk down Adelaide and Ann Street.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a public not-for-profit university funded by the Australian Government. It is open to students and staff of all beliefs.

Located at South Bank, Griffith University’s Queensland Conservatorium is one of Australia’s most highly regarded tertiary music schools and is located close to the State Library and the Gallery of Modern Art. Griffith University also has several other campuses in Brisbane, including the Nathan, Mt Gravatt and Logan campuses, easily accessed by public transport or by using one of our bikes.

University of Queensland (UQ) is one of Australia’s prestigious “group of eight” universities. Its high world ranking means it is a popular choice for international and domestic students. As Queensland’s oldest university it has been educating global leaders for more than 100 years and has a number of campuses throughout Brisbane including medical and dentistry schools located close to the city. All campuses are easily accessed by all forms of public transport or, for those attending the city campuses, an easy walk from Student One.

James Cook University’s (JCU) Brisbane campus and Sarina Russo Institute are both located on Queen Street, within the central business district. The campuses are easily accessible from Student One and only a short five-minute walk away.

EF English offers a range of moderate- to high-intensity English courses for students looking to advance their language skills. All courses in Brisbane take place in EF’s English school, which is located a short walk from Student One.
