This competition involved students participating in one of or all four of the categories: together at home concert for all of our talented musos, 10 push-up challenge for our fitness buffs, TikTok dance meme for our groovers and the wildcard category, stay social Student One, for any other creative ideas.
It was incredible to see how many of our students got involved and the entries demonstrated a variety of talents and skills.
We saw an influx of musicians showing off their tunes with both acoustic covers and original songs written just for social distancing at Student One.
The residents got their sweat on with the push-up challenge and pushed themselves with upside down push-ups, added resistance bands and in a social distancing friendly three person pyramid push-up (submitted by roommates).
The TikTok dance battle saw High School Musical throwbacks, Coronavirus themed dances and all of our favourite dances that are currently trending on TikTok.
For those who wanted to push their creative side, the wildcard category had a range of entries such as an animal crossing choose your character video and the ultimate Student One the apartment floor is lava challenge.
A big thank you to all the residents who participated in the competition and a big congratulations to our lucky winners, who went home with $100 gift cards.
