Keep your energy levels up with these 16 lunches that will keep you and your wallet satisfied. Added bonus, all of these options are right near Student One and under $15.


1. Sushi Train

Treat yourself to three (yes, that’s 3) plates of sushi at one of the best sushi trains in town, Sushi Edo on Elizabeth Street. All plates are $3.80 so this will set you back $11.40, with money to spare for a bowl of Miso Soup that will bring your total up to $14.30.

2. Singaporean

Head down to Singapore & Co in Albert Street to satisfy all your Singapore cuisine cravings. The majority of their menu comes in under $15, so you’ll have plenty to choose from.

3. Sushi Rolls

Seriously strapped for cash? Get your hands on a couple of sushi rolls from LR Sushi on Adelaide Street for just $5.60.

4. Vietnamese

Looking for a good lunch deal? Head to Saigon Salad Roll on Roma Street for three rice paper rolls or a Vietnamese bread roll, and a drink for $11. Spend $14.50 and snag yourself a rice vermicelli salad or broken rice bowl, with your choice of protein and a drink.
